In photographers' discussions of what makes for quality in an image, there's often a tension between accuracy of portrayal and aesthetics of presentation. I've come to think that digital photography opens new possibilities to imaginate that which the eye can see in a blink, but which no camera can capture in one shot . And in much of my recent work that's what I'm exploring. Hope you'll enjoy what you see!

In this 2007 re-build of the site I’m working to extend its scope. My Highland landscape photography remains the core of the site, and I've added online purchasing (with checkout payment via PayPal).
